The first 50 year old highland knight was distilled in 1960 and bottled in 2010, with an alcohol content of 44.8 and a capacity of 700 ml. The winery used 5 barrels of whisky to bottle 275 bottles, which is a Scottish single wheat with high collection value. This custom whiskey bottle was designed by Maeve Gillies, a famous Scottish jewelry designer, and won the best design award at the 2012 global whisky awards. The bottle body is intertwined and overlapped by mesh metal, which is integrated with the glass bottle, and is decorated with rocks on the Orkney Islands. It looks like an ancient Roman Knight suit, or a hundred year old tree and vine with intricate roots.
